In Private Collections

Not every Garikow stayed in the collection. Some were gifts to friends, some were sold by the family, and some have turned up decades later at auctions, in antique shops and even beside the road.

Each painting shown here has been checked by the curator, who has examined photographs of the work and its signature. Every work has a register number. Owners’ names are kept private.
