We would like to add some detail to our website about Ivan Garikow's early years in Russia. If any person can give us information about this period, we would be very thankful. Submissions can be in English or russian thru this page or directly by email. Thank you. Martin Curator of the Garikow Collection.

I found your site, dedicated to Ivan Garikov, and I was shocked. I am the niece of Ivan - the daughter of his brother Michael Garikov. I live in Russia, and our family for many years thought that Ivan went missing during the Second World War. I would like to know the address or other coordinates of Arnold, to meet with him.

The Eurisko Art Foundation owner of the Garikow Collection needs your help. We'd like to conduct an informal survey. Would you please view the Garikow gallery one more time and list for us the two (or more) paintings you consider his finest work. Thank you very much!

Please feel free to post a comment if you visit our web site. We are interested in ANYONE that can shed light on Garikows life in PA or beforehand. If you own a Garikow painting you should notify us so the work can be catalogged and listed. This will add greatly to the value of any work. Thanks for viewing.. Martin McDermott Curator

While visiting Salzburg a couple of years ago, I took a photo on the same street that the Lady In Salzburg was painted on. I did not realize it, until I saw the painting on this website. A very powerful artist!!

The paintings are intense and very different. It is interesting that his sad life can be viewed through these art works, very facinating.

Have seen the paintings at Martins home and loved them, however the story of Ivns life and the lengths he had to go to to enable him to paint is fascinating.
